Framed up and joining some more of my pastel works in the Loxton Parish Hall Gallery. Open 10am - 2pm on Thurs, Fri and Sundays the Gallery is also a tea-room. A lovely quiet space to view some amazing local art, meet one of the artists, and enjoy a pot of tea. 20 varieties of loose-leaf tea to choose from, served from fine China teapots, in lovely teacups & saucers, along with a piece of homemade slice.
Entry into the Gallery is free. Tea & slice $5 per person.
Lots of fabulous artworks to view and purchase, as well as cards, prints and some unframed originals.

Finished! Done in navy Pastel pencil this piece is A3 in size, and once the mount I have ordered is ready I'll frame it.
A4 sized prints are already available at The Collective and Parish Hall Gallery here in Loxton.

Check out the window of The Collective Loxton and see my 30cm round painting of blue wrens I done last week, now part of the window display.
That made room for my latest piece in this format, featuring Crimson Rosellas, to go into my usual display inside the store. So, three of my bright acrylic paintings featuring Australian birds and blossoms to choose from. On display now in The Collective Loxton. Check out the cards and prints of some of my larger ink and pastel works, and mini-panels featuring original acrylic paintings of Aussie birds and animals, and even some cute little dragons!
Lots of other artisan's works to be found in store too - well worth a visit!

Inspired by last week's round painting of Rainbow Lorikeets, this week I've done a similar painting of little blue wrens.
Both these paintings are for sale - and if interested in buying either of them or any other of my paintings, please FB message me.
Otherwise, this new piece will join the Rainbow Lorikeets in The Collective Loxton where it will be for sale along with my cards, prints, and original paintings on mini-panels. And lots of other locally made products.

Finished yesterday, and now on display and for sale in The Collective Loxton. Rainbow Lorikeets painted in acrylics on a 30cm canvas covered board. This colourful little collection of my works is currently on the sales counter, so easy to find. Look out for my display with more of my mini-panels in acrylics, cards and prints.

Portrait of a young rock star in the making, finished in time for him to see it. Done in navy pastel pencil this large piece features my eldest grandson singing in his band. A huge thank you to Brian Northern Photography for permission to use his great reference photo!

My latest sparrow pictures, done in ink and pastel now framed up in lovely frames I had custom made by Heirloom here in Loxton. They join my smaller sparrow picture in the Loxton Parish Hall Gallery, along with another 5 of my artworks and many other pieces by 6 talented Loxton artists.

I've been busy doing some framing, and now Molly, a pretty, soft and fluffy Rag Doll is framed ready to hang. Along with my pastel portrait of her "sister" short-haired Rag Doll Maisie. Looking forward to delivering these two commissioned portraits when we will be in Adelaide for a few days in a couple of weeks

Meet Molly - my latest commissioned A4 sized pastel pet portrait. One of the fluffiest, softest animals I've ever had the privilege to paint. She is "sister" to short-haired Rag Doll Maisie I painted a few weeks ago. She is the 8th commissioned pet portrait I have done for this regular customer over the last several years! Such a privilege to be trusted to paint portraits of precious furry members of her family, and anyone who commissions me to do so.
