It was back in 2007 when I first met Maria for my bellydance class in Logan, QLD. What began as a class, soon grew into many years filled with dancing, laughter, and friendship.

This little Spanish lady, now 84 years young, has always been such an inspiration to all my bellydancers, and to everyone lucky enough to meet her.

Maria has a signature smile that brings sunshine into every room and every occasion. During my cancer journey and now to her own struggles, we have continued to catch up, share life, and support one another.

I feel so blessed to share so many years, dances, laughs, and special moments with this beautiful bellydancer ❤️

Feeling incredibly grateful for the opportunity to teach young bellydancers around the same age as my daughters. Watching these girls discover their confidence, creativity, and joy through dance is truly rewarding.

Being able to share my passion wholeheartedly and inspire the next generation of dancers is a privilege I never take for granted. Every class is a reminder of why I fell in love with this beautiful art form in the first place. 💖

May they always dance with courage, kindness, and their hearts wide open. 🌸💃

Your teacher is also a student.

Always learning. Always evolving—in life, and in dance.

What changes over the years is that your movement becomes more authentic,

more honest,

more representative of who you truly are.

Dance slowly becomes you.

It is freedom. It is connection. It is truth without words.

And growth… growth asks for something in return: your time, your energy, your presence, your willingness to invest in the journey and the people who walk it with you.
