We woke up to the devastating news that our dance studio SJJ Creative Dance & Acting Studios has been destroyed by a fire that broke out in the next door building early this morning.

To help cover lost income and potential relocation and set-up costs we have set up a GoFundMe page.

KIDS TV COMMERCIAL AUDITION WORKSHOP! Sunday, March 22nd, 2020 for Children aged between 7yo-15yo from 10.00am - 1.00pm. Cost is $80 per child and payable on the day.
This workshop is a wonderful opportunity for Jane Pearson (Casting Director - Miss Jane Casting) to work alongside Children who are new to the industry or for those who wish to gain extra experience in front of the camera whilst learning the best way to present themselves during a TV Commercial audition.
This informative workshop is not only a great learning experience but also lots of fun! We encourage a positive casting experience so children feel confident about auditioning in front of the camera. Parents view their child’s work at the end of the class and we answer any questions about the TV Commercial Industry.
All children that attend receive a Certificate of Participation to take home.

ADULT SCREEN ACTING WORKSHOP!
4.5 Hr Adult Screen Acting Workshop on Sunday, March 17th 10am - 2.30pm (4 hour class & lunch break).
This Workshop covers 4 hours of screen acting coaching as well as script work, screen-testing and playback / discussion. Ensemble Studios (Sydney) Graduate, Philip Jones, has over 30 years experience as an acting coach. Philip is dedicated to helping and improving each student’s on-screen performance by passing on invaluable screen acting skills in order to give each person the best opportunity in an audition. Our class covers valuable screen acting techniques that will leave your talent feeling confident and prepared for their next audition. This workshop is also a wonderful opportunity for Jane Pearson (Casting Director - Miss Jane Casting) to pass on valuable inside Industry information towards the end of the class. This informative workshop is not only a great learning experience but an enjoyable one. We encourage a positive casting experience so people feel confident about performing in front of the camera.

WADE ROBSON “BACK TO OZ” ✨ Thursday, 20th December, 2018

Wade Robson is a Creative force for Stage, Film, and TV with over 25 years of creative output so far. He has designed, Directed and/or Choreographed world tours, music videos, commercials and TV appearances for the likes of Britney Spears, NSync, Pink, Mya, Usher, Aerosmith, Demi Lovato, One Direction, The San Francisco Ballet, MTV, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, Nikki Minaj, David Guetta, and Cirque Du Soleil, to name a few as well as being a two-time Emmy winner.

Dance had unfortunately become a tainted experience for Wade and as a result he stepped away from it for several years. Fortunately, much healing has occurred, Wade feels re-inspired, re-purposed and invigorated to share what he has learned and make a positive impact on the current and next generation of dancers and dance makers.

His classes are now a new kind of visceral experience, coloured by Eclectic Grooves, Yoga and real talk.
