Hard to get a good picture of this 1920's portable sheep shearing unit.
86 hrs to pull it all down, clean 60 odd years of oil, mud and crap ( mixed into a kind of opaque varnish with the excessive amounts of lanolin from the wool).
Then turned the J.A.P engine and clutch system around to reduce its new footprint as a table, (& to stop it over balancing), this meant moving the fuel tank and other bits and pieces.
Repainted the Lister emblem and found out who the agents were to redo the sign on the timber. Glad its a bit of history saved fro the junk pile.

Turns out attaching 3 spring loaded furniture hinges to a tapered, convex egg shaped fan body and keeping it all plumb and centred is a bit of a mish!
Especially when each one has 3 movement points and the angle I need is right where the spring tension slams them shut like a rat trap on steroids.
Got me good a few times 🥴😥
