Thank you everyone who visited my work in the Sydney Royal Easter Show! Three of the four artworks are now sold but limited edition prints of them are still available. My "Starry Feathers" watercolour and ink won third prize which made me very happy! I was also lucky enough to have my Mom and Dad visiting so that made it extra special.

A tiny treasure I finished last year and sold. It was about 20cmx20cm if I remember correctly, and using shimmering sequins under many layers of transparent and irridescent acrylic paint. It was a fun experiment because the light glimmered off the dragon's scales and eye and at certain angles changed colour. Also depending on the light angle I got a pleasing almost holographic sense of 3D to the treasure at the back of the cave because of the multiple layers of transparent acrylic.

I have four works up in the Sydney Royal Easter Show Art Competition. Please pop by and have a look if you are at the Show over the next week! My Painting of the Black Cockatoo "Starry Feathers", won third prize which I was super pleased with!

My painting “A Process of Becoming” was bought by Dr Kate Hadwen. I was rendered completely inarticulate but extremely happy, much to everyone’s amusement.
