Lilydale Skate Centre is home to the Lilydale Rats Inline Hockey team, Lilydale Lions Roller Hockey team and the Lilydale Artistic Skating Team. It also hosts training and classes in Speed Skating, Freestyle Slalom and Roller Derby alongside General Skating, Roller Discos and All Abilities Roller Discos.

If your pre-teen or teen has been asking what’s happening on Friday night, chances are they’re looking for somewhere to hang out, have fun, and see their friends.

That’s exactly what Friday nights at Lilydale are all about.

Music, skating, laughs, a bit of showing off, a bit of learning, and plenty of memories being made.

And if skating feels a little intimidating, don’t stress. We run regular learn-to-skate classes and our rink is full of people who remember exactly what those first wobbly laps felt like.

Whether you’re finding your feet, getting back on skates after years away, or already racing around the floor, there’s a place for you here.

Whether you’re 5 or 55, it’s never too late to learn to skate. Our Learn to Skate classes are perfect for beginners wanting to build confidence, improve balance and learn the basics in a fun and supportive environment.

A great option for kids wanting to start skating, parents wanting to join in, or adults finally giving it a go for themselves ✨

📍 Tuesdays — 5:45pm–6:25pm
📍 Saturdays — 10:45am–11:25am

One of the things parents tell us they love about our birthday parties is how naturally kids pick up skating throughout the session. 🛼🎉

Rather than stopping for a formal lesson, our team weaves tips, encouragement and mini coaching moments into the games and activities. It helps nervous skaters build confidence, learn the basics and join in the fun alongside their friends.

We see just how much effort goes into those happy faces at the rink, and we don’t take it for granted.

Today, mums or the special guardian you’re celebrating skates free 💛

All sessions on Sunday 10th one mum or the special guardian from each family skates free!
No need to book a ticket or use any fancy codes.
Just book in your tickets or show up to the rink on the day with your mum and they will get in for free.

What a great way to spend some quality family time with mum this mother’s day!

Let the bullets fly when you run (not skate!) around with your kids playing John Wick. Your body can say you’re not young anymore but you got Sunday to rest and a whole lot of good memories with the kids.

All Nerf Gun Wars sessions are at set session time:
Arrive 4 PM for 4:30 PM start Finishes 6:00 PM

BYO weapon and safety glasses
🥽 Bullets provided. If you’re new to NERF GUNS WAR @ LILYDALE SKATE CENTRE, here’s the rundown!
Arrive from 4pm to be ready for 4.30pm start
$15 entry per person
ALL AGES (and we highly encourage parents to join too!)
This event is with SHOES, not skates! 👟👟
🥽 BYO SAFETY GLASSES (Safety glasses are only a few bucks at Bunnings)
🔫 BYO weapon (if your gun is battery-powered, remember to check your batteries before you come!) 🏃♀️ No booking required, just turn up
🚄 Bring no bullets, take no bullets home
👟 Please wear CLEAN SHOES
👍 Only bring a weapon that you would feel comfortable on the receiving end of Event
