Calling all Opal Queens.

Applications are now open for the 2026 Lightning Ridge Opal Queen.

Our annual Opal Queen Ball will be held on the 1st of August 2026, and we are looking for local woman residents of Lightning Ridge and surrounding areas, of all ages (over 18) to apply for this year's title.

There are fabulous prizes to be won, a gift bag for every entrant and a wonderful night of fun to be had with your family and friends with live local music. The ball is held at the
