This rooms sits up to 12 and inspections are welcome👍👍👍

You will find us at the Outback Opal Tours booking office at 48 Morilla Street (directly opposite of the Opal Cave).

Yesterday Mark Greeves Director of The Tourism Group put Staff & Volunteers from Walgett & Lightning Ridge Visitors Information Centre - LRVIC through their paces at the V.I.C Training Academy.

Our Staff and volunteers spent the day updating their skills and knowledge on all things Visitor Information!

Mark took them through a number of modules including:

- Understand the role & value of the AVIC
- Who is your customer and what do they want?
- Know your product
- Storytelling (every one is a storyteller)
- Technology and the AVIC
- What makes a good Volunteer
- Accreditation

Perfect timing with Tourist Season already gearing up to be the biggest one yet and Lightning Ridge Easter Festival just 10days away!
