When the colour of a glaze and the colour of flowers are in conversation, something quiet and beautiful happens. These two ikebana arrangements by show just that — each one a different dialogue, the same vessel holding both. Glaze recipe will be featured in the Stoneware Glazes book published later on in the year. 🌿

Emily Adele Williams is a a cello player, composer and improviser; and current Blue Studio artist in residence creating new work for cello and ceramics percussion.

As a culmination of her residence Emily is planing an exciting participatory evening of ceramic & cello sounds

All are welcome to come and join in the musical creativity: there will be a simple graphic score to follow as Emily plays along with Cello and improvised work where we all create music from the purpose made and found ceramic objects at the studio.

There will also be a final performance of Emily's new work for ceramic pitched percussion & effected cello.
