🎭 YOUTH THEATRE WORKSHOPS ARE HERE!! 🎭
Looking for something fun to do these school holidays? Do you have an interest in theatre, music or dance? Or maybe you’d simply love to learn some new skills in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment?

We’re excited to be hosting 6 Youth Theatre Workshops these school holidays, featuring some amazingly talented local people who many of you will recognise from our recent productions! 🌟
We’ll be running:
💃 2 x Dance Workshops with Emily Laughlin
🎭 2 x Acting Workshops with Daniel Lawrie
🎤 2 x Singing Workshops with Kerryn Lockhart
Workshops are separated into different age groups, so please make sure you select the correct age group when booking.

✨ 100 YEARS OF LEONGATHA MEMORIAL HALL ✨

Last weekend we celebrated 100 years of Leongatha’s Memorial Hall. A much loved place of remembrance, community, entertainment and countless memories for generations ❤️

To mark the occasion, the official proceedings included a special re-enactment of speeches from the Hall’s opening 100 years ago.

🎭 Joel stepped into the role of Dr Horace Pern
🎭 Bruce portrayed Brigadier General ‘Pompey’ Elliott
A very special way bring a little piece of the Hall’s history back to life!

We were also thrilled to have our Leongatha Lyric Theatre Life Members present for the celebrations 🥰 A beautiful connection to the generations of theatre and community that have taken place within these walls.

A huge thank you to Don Devonshire for creating the cenotaph prop and Helen Lindton for arranging the costumes and helping bring this piece of history to life 👏🏼

From cinema and balls to musical theatre, performances and community celebrations, Memorial Hall has been at the heart of Leongatha for a century!!!! We’re so proud to continue being part of its story 🎭
