You know a good festival has landed when the streets come to life with energy and excitement.

There’s music in the air, vintage style at every turn, people dancing, chatting, laughing and going all out on joining in the atmosphere and vibe.

That’s the Australian Art Deco Festival, and it's returning to Leeton across the weekend of July 9-11 2027.

It’s polished without being precious, playful without trying too hard, and full of the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

So pop the dates on your calendar, and sign up to our newsletter via the link in our bio.

Every Festival has its stars. Some of them never step onto the stage.

𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂!

You greeted visitors, answered questions, shifted signs, carried boxes, sold tickets, solved problems, poured cups of tea (and occasionally a little bubbly), helped racers find the Soapbox Derby starting line, pointed people towards talks, brunches and high teas, captured the weekend through a camera lens, and, on at least one memorable occasion, became a fish at the VIP Launch 🐠

You stayed back, arrived early, filled the gaps and somehow kept smiling through it all.

Much of what you do goes unnoticed, and that’s often the point. But this Festival simply wouldn’t happen without you.
You helped make the weekend what it was.

We’re lucky to have you.

Regional festivals begin with local ideas, but strong support helps them travel much further.
The 2026 Australian Art Deco Festival Leeton was proudly supported by the NSW Government through Destination NSW.
That backing helped us welcome visitors to the Riverina, showcase Leeton’s heritage and hospitality, and deliver three days and two nights of music, performance, food, design and whole-of-shire celebration. We value the support that helps regional events like ours grow, welcome visitors and show off Leeton at its Art Deco best.

One final toast to Brooks & Baker Productions.
The BB family returned with the voices, characters, sharp suits and quick wit that have become such a recognisable part of the Australian Art Deco Festival Leeton. Across High Rollers, Chelmsford and Circus Soirée, they helped shape the entertainment, filled the rooms with music and mischief, and brought a few splendid new guests along for the ride.
Behind the scenes, they are much more than performers. They are creative partners and enthusiastic champions of the Festival, helping us dream a little bigger each year.
And Aurora, of course, holding court and keeping the whole caper moving.
A Festival partnership with personality to spare. Until next year, darlings.

The cards were not the only things attracting attention at High Rollers.
Our generous auction contributors gave guests plenty of reasons to raise a hand: Amcal Pharmacy Leeton, Antoinette’s Jewellers, Australia Post Shop Leeton, Fred Cole Betta Electrical, Hydro Hotel, Maple Lane Boutique, Pat Faulkner, Shaun Myles, Stray Cat Farmhouse and Tim Hutchinson.
Breed & Hutchinson kept the bids moving and took care of the auctioneering on the night.
Your gifts, original artworks and prize packs added another layer of fun to High Rollers. We are very grateful for every contribution.

Chelmsford Place looked very good in market mode. To every stallholder who packed the van, arrived early and filled the Festival with food, wares and friendly chatter, this one's for you. And to the Leeton Town Band, thank you for giving Saturday its soundtrack. We loved the colour, variety and energy you brought to the heart of Saturday.

Sunday began with brunch, bubbles and a very good groove.
The Hydro Hotel hosted a busy room full of Festival guests in no particular hurry to call the weekend finished, while Groove Inc brought the live jazz and Grove Juice kept the breakfast glasses topped up.
It was exactly the sort of Sunday morning we had hoped for.
To the Hydro team, Groove Inc and Grove Juice, thank you for helping us finish the weekend on such a bright note.

The carts only need a good push. The Soapbox Derby takes a fair bit more.
Behind the cheers and cheerful chaos were the people who helped make the course possible and the races worth watching. This one is for Leeton Toyota, VRA Rescue NSW, Riverina Roadrunners and Peter O’Connor, “The Straw Man”.
Your support helped keep the wheels turning and the Derby firmly among the Festival’s most popular Saturday traditions.

One session shook things up. The other lowered the lights.
Hippo Co created and led both Cocktail Concoctions and The Wade Upstairs Speakeasy Session, moving from hands-on mixing and tasting to a moodier exploration of good spirits and good stories. The Wade Hotel hosted both, supplying the rooms, glasses a
Two quite different Festival experiences. Both went down very well indeed.
