ā³ Tomorrow at 3pm, the walk ends.

*A Walk With Us* closes tomorrow afternoon, marking your last chance to experience this beautiful exhibition by Pat Faulkner and Michelle Fletcher.

If you've been saying "I'll get there next week", unfortunately next week has arrived.

And for those who have purchased an artwork, collections can be made tomorrow between 3pm and 3:30pm. If that time doesn't suit, just get in touch and we'll happily arrange collection during the following week.

See you for one last walk.

🌿 One of the best parts of working in a gallery is watching people stop in front of a work and say, "That's the one."

This is the last week to see A Walk With Us by Pat Faulkner and Michelle Fletcher.

Whether it's the birds, the wildflowers, the colours, or a memory it brings back, these works have been finding homes across our community.

Pop in before Saturday and see which one speaks to you.

This National Reconciliation Week, we’re reflecting on this year’s theme, All In. It's a call for all of us to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation, every day.
At LMAG, that means recognising the strength and leadership of our partners in the local Wiradyuri community, and understanding that reconciliation isn't something they should have to carry alone.

Reconciliation doesn't happen from the sidelines.
It takes all of us.

Today we remember the Stolen Generations, and acknowledge the strength of survivors, families and communities. We’re resharing this image of the Leeton Tower lit in purple as a small act of recognition and remembrance.
Thanks to Illuminart for helping make it possible.

Tonight, the Leeton Water Tower and Roxy windows are lit purple to recognise .

National Sorry Day is held on 26 May each year to acknowledge Stolen Generations survivors, their families, and communities, as well as the ongoing impacts of past government policies.

Purple was chosen by Stolen Generations survivors as a colour of resilience, strength, and healing. It is represented in the native purple hibiscus, also known as the desert rose.

This year’s theme, From Sorry to Action, reminds us that acknowledgement must be matched by meaningful change.

Leeton Shire Council acknowledges the Wiradyuri people, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work and pays respect to Elders past and present.

Thank you to Illuminart for helping make this recognition possible.

International Museum Day. A chance to think about museums not just as buildings, but as places where stories are kept, shared and revisited. At LMAG, that starts with Leeton.

Need a little colour this week? Start here. šŸŽØ Only a few days left to see the Penny Paniz Acquisitive Arts Exhibition before it closes on Friday, 9 May. With 160 works across two galleries and a People’s Prize you can keep voting in, there’s every reason to come in before it wraps up.
If it’s been sitting on your ā€œmust get thereā€ list, this is your nudge.
