I’ve watched this video more times than I can count, and every time I do, it reminds me of my why.

Why I created The Movement Project in the first place.

To bring passionate young dancers together. To create opportunities that didn’t previously exist in our region. To build a space where artistry, connection, growth, and creativity could thrive beyond the boundaries of a single studio.

Seeing all of that captured so beautifully in just a few minutes is something I can’t quite put into words.

This isn’t just a promotional video for No Rain, No Flowers. It’s a reflection of the heart behind The Movement Project and everything this first season has become.

A huge thank you to Bayley Whyte from Whyte Films. Your ability to capture not only the movement, but the feeling behind it all, is truly incredible. You’ve taken an idea that once existed only in my head and turned it into something tangible, meaningful, and lasting.

Amelia is a beautifully versatile young dancer with a natural ability to adapt herself across every style she steps into. She has such a strong understanding of performance quality, with expressive movement and a face that effortlessly connects to the emotion and energy of each piece. There is a maturity in the way she performs that draws your attention immediately.

She is a lovely little technician with beautifully clean placement and control, but what makes Amelia so captivating is the ease she brings to her movement. She dances with a lightness that makes everything feel airy and effortless — especially through her jumps and travelling work, where she seems to float across the space with softness and freedom.

Alongside that softness, Amelia also has a powerful side to her dancing. She can switch energy instantly and attack movement with confidence and strength, bringing a completely different dynamic when needed. That versatility is something really special to see at such a young age.

Beyond her talent, Amelia brings a beautiful energy into the studio and approaches every rehearsal with focus, openness, and a genuine love for dancing. We are so excited to have Amelia as part of The Movement Project 2026 season.

Over the past year, she has continued transforming into a strong and powerful technician, developing beautiful lines, increasing control, and a mature understanding of contemporary movement and floor work.

One of Hanna’s greatest strengths is the way she leads by example through effort. She consistently gives her full attention to the process, works hard behind the scenes, and approaches challenges with maturity and determination.
