The Launceston Musical Society is a non-profit, locally based, amateur theatre group whose aim is to produce quality, professional-style musical productions for the enjoyment of the Launceston community. The LMS actively encourages youth participation and provides the opportunity for all member of the community to follow their dreams of being on stage. We pride ourselves on ensuring that everyone

is given the opportunity to be a part of our productions. We constantly strive to be the best that we can be and firmly believe in using local businesses and performers.

The LMS is saddened to hear of the passing of long-time member and supporter, Mrs Jo Janes. She was an enthusiastic and dedicated member for many years and will be remembered fondly by many. We pass our condolences to family and especially her son Stephen who shared the stage and love of singing with her.
