Are you ready to take your Mermaiding to the next level- or are you brand new to the magical world of Mermaid Freediving? Whatever your skill level, Mermaid Kaz from Freedive Tasmania is here to help you achieve your mermaid dreams.

After great success establishing her PADI Mermaid courses and classes in Tasmania, Mermaid Kaz is splashing her way to the mainland- starting with Victoria! In response to demand, Mermaid Kaz will be delivering a series of PADI Mermaid courses, both in the pool and the ocean, children’s Mermaid Magical Discovery classes, plus Underwater Movement Masterclasses and Mermaid Entertainment workshops based around the Mornington Peninsula from 16–21 October 2026. One of the more unusual visitors to the Mermaid Grotto during the recent huon_valley_medieval_fest 💕🐑

One thing you may not know about me is that I grew up on a farm and am still a country girl through and through…so it was lovely to cuddle this beautiful little lamb (who is not destined for the dinner table, phew, but was a cherished pet of a young patron). Little dude even snuggled into me and closed his eyes…

Finfolk Productions have nailed it again! My new PADI Professional gear for work. This is the Wind Trader print from the recent Avatar drop! I can’t wait to wear the leggings and rashie in the pool- and the skater skirt to my day job! (Please note- the PADI rashie is *only* available to PADI Pros (instructors).

One of the best things about my job is that I get to work with my friends! Pictured is my amazing pirate sidekick, Captain Johnny Morningstar, who always goes above and beyond at our gigs, and the lovely Loren from True Fairytale Entertainment who also styled my wig for the huon_valley_medieval_fest as seen here!

Things are a little quiet on my socials as I am currently on holidays with my partner across the ditch in New Zealand! Visiting Hobbiton Movie Set was a dream come true. I have lots to post from my recent PADI courses and the amazing Ren Fest but for now…I am taking some time to recharge 💕🫧💫

Not long to go now! We can’t wait to meet lots of lovely patrons at the Huon Valley Medieval Fest & Ren Fair 2026! ⚔️ 🧝‍♀️ 🐴 🧙‍♂️ 👑

You will find our immersive grotto right near the main entrance. Come in to meet a mermaid and her pirate sidekick, learn about our kelp forests and ocean conservation, enjoy photos and temporary tattoos plus add to our Giant Kelp Forest Collaborative Art Project! 🪸 🌊 🐠 🦭 🦈

We will also have handmade ocean treasures for sale such as hair clips and more, plus some gorgeous little hair pieces made by the lovely Mermaid Moonbow from Galaxy Of Ash 🧜🏻‍♀️ 💫 🌙 After you visit us, right next to us will be Sunflower the Autumn Fairy from True Fairytale Entertainment so make sure you visit her for bubble magic and Craft with a Fairy activities! 🧚 🫧

Approx 800 pearl beads sewn on by hand. Approx 600 pearls and crystals strung by hand. Approx 50 hours of work- and I am so overjoyed with how my new top turned out! So much of what you see here was upcycled or repurposed. I can’t wait to debut it this weekend at the huon_valley_medieval_fest
