A look back at a recent PADI Mermaid course!
Emily took a leap of faith and joined me on a guided snorkel tour despite having a huge fear of deep water- and even a fear of putting her face in the water. Over the last few months she has joined me in the ocean for snorkelling three times and completed an Intro to Apnea lesson in the pool.
The next challenge was the PADI Mermaid course! Over a very big day she took on every challenge with guts and determination, including facing her anxiety around the deep dive pool in the afternoon- and emerged as a certified PADI Mermaid! Congratulations Emily, you made your Mermaid Instructor very, very proud. Next challenge for Emily- taking Mermaiding into the ocean!
