We feel very proud to be a finalist this year in the Local Business Awards!
1982 Kim started a dance school out the back in her parents house and 44 years later she has created a legacy with students performing across the world and still inspiring young performers today!
Congratulations to all other finalists and we hope everyone enjoys the awards tonight!!

“It’s always tricky when one does an interview not everything you say gets used . I was asked if I had trained any dancers to the world final . I thought carefully and said yes , Jane McArthur , Natasha Millwood , Emily Ingram , Madison Sefton and recently Eliza Kitto who has qualified 3 times . I completely forgot my own daughter . After the interview ended when they were trying to find some footage from Cowal it became evident that I had forgotten about Elie . Sadly the voice over only mentions Elie what I said isn’t included. I’m so very proud of all my dancers their success and hard work .”

Launceston Arts High School and Tertiary Audition/Workshop Registration - 19th July

Patrick School Of the Arts is coming to Tasmania for the first time.

Hear first hand from teachers and alumni about training at PSA and participate in a free dance and singing/acting (optional) workshop.

PSA Academy and Full-time alumni Bella Runnalls (Beauty and the Beast) and Amy Hopwood (Frozen, Beauty and the Beast dance captain) will join Musical Theatre Program leader, David Wisken this weekend in Launceston and Hobart for a free audition workshop and live auditions for all of the the 2027 Programs at PSA (for those eligible).

Whether you are ready to audition for next year or gathering information for years to come.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to be considered for entry into one of our 2027 programs you must also fill out an application form prior to auditioning via our website www.psarts.com.au/auditions/

Suitable for students 15 years and above.

A very special part of our trip this weekend was going to watch Miss Sam perform as Anne Hathaway in Windmill Theatre Company’s“& Juliet” !! It was such a wonderful show & Miss Sam was incredible and bought the house down!! Very inspiring for KRSD students to watch a teacher perform an incredible performance. We are so proud Samantha Hammersley 🩷🩷🩷 #&juliet
