TWO ADVANCED MUSICAL CLASSES
Available for enrolling for anyone young performer from across our region just one more week from our training arm - High Street Productions. Classes commence the week of February 9.

We are excited to commence all High Street Productions classes from February 9 - one week to go! For SPCC families and returning students, check your emails. There are still TWO Advanced Musical Theatre classes available for anyone who wants to join:
- Grades 5-7 on Mondays from 4:15pm to 5:30pm OR
- Grades 7-9 on Wednesdays from 4:15pm to 5:30pm

CONGRATULATIONS to Lachlan who won Best Lead Actor in an 18/under musical AND to everyone involved with 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' winning BEST MUSICAL (18/under). A fun night had by all celebrating EVERYONE who makes theatre in our region. Well done team!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ... everyone!
The annual City of Newcastle Drama Association - CONDAs award nominations were announced this evening, and we are truly humbled, having been nominated for 15 CONDAS over our two musicals this year. The 'best production' and 'best ensemble' are our favourite award categories because they acknowledge the contribution of EVERYONE to the production. We are so proud of every person on and off stage for both Footloose and Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Well done teams!

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: Vi Moore
Vi is the warm-hearted and empathetic wife of Reverend Shaw Moore, whose gentle compassion provides a quiet counterpoint to her husband’s strictness. Caught between loyalty to her family and understanding her daughter Ariel’s craving for freedom, she becomes a subtle but powerful voice of support and reconciliation in a town bound by rigid rules. CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT: Ren
Ren McCormack is a spirited teenager, forced to move from Chicago to Bomont, whose passion for dance stirs an uprising against restrictive small-town rules. Driven by his belief in freedom and community, he challenges the town’s ban on dancing, forges deep friendships, and discovers love with Ariel while standing up to authority figures and inspiring everyone to “cut loose.” Played by the ever-energetic and highly captivating .van.esveld there are just four more opportunities to come and see Footloose before we close on Saturday.
