Alleyway Art Studio is growing into a space for people to gather, create and connect in a space and place that suits you.
Whether it’s a relaxed paint session with friends, a creative birthday party, a workshop, or a regular class — the goal is simple: make creativity accessible, welcoming and joyful.

Glow Within is happening this Friday ✨
Alleyway Art Studio’s very first community event is here — a relaxed creative girls night out celebrating women and creativity for International Women’s Day.
Bring a friend, your mum, your sister, or come along and meet new people for a gentle evening of creativity and connection.
Enjoy an exhibition of new artworks alongside a guided creative experience where you’ll make a small artwork of your own to take home.
A welcoming space to slow down, chat and create together.

Creative Learning with Alleyway Art Studio

Alleyway Art Studio delivers creative education programs that inspire students to explore, create and express themselves through art.
Our programs are designed to work alongside schools to support diverse learners and encourage creative thinking.
Alleyway programs focus on four key experiences:
✨ Inspire – Students connect with ideas, artists and materials.
🎨 Explore and Create – Experimenting with techniques and creative thinking, Hands-on artmaking, facilitating everyone to create their own unique works.
🖼 Exhibit – Celebrating student work and creative growth
Programs can be adapted for different ages, abilities and learning styles.
Now taking interest for bookings in Term 2nd or schools in Lake Mac, Newcastle and surrounding areas.

✨ Glow Within✨
Something new is beginning.
After going dormant and never leaving my heart, Alleyway Art Studio is stepping into its next chapter — and Glow Within will be the very first community event.
This evening is a celebration of women, creativity and the quiet strength we carry within us for International Women’s Day.
As both the artist behind the work and the person growing Alleyway, this event feels deeply personal. The paintings in Glow Within explore inner light, resilience and the beauty of becoming — and the evening will include a gentle creative experience where you’ll be guided to create a small artwork of your own.
No pressure.
No expectations.
Just a welcoming space to slow down, connect and make something meaningful.
Alleyway has always been about making creativity accessible to everyone, and this event marks the beginning of a new season — one where art brings people together in thoughtful and inspiring ways.
If you’ve been following my work for a while, you’ll know this has been growing quietly in the background. It feels special to finally share it.

Getting christmassy today in Art Making After School at 3:05pm at Boolaroo Public School Hall. Cannot wait to see the kids out their painting skills learnt last week to the test on canvas today.

Art Making After School is on today, 3:05pm at Boolaroo Primary School Hall. Today we play with colour, learning about mixing colours and flexing our painting technique.

I have unfortunately had to cancel this week’s Art Making After School class at Boolaroo Hall 3pm, due to sickness. I apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, and look forward to getting back to creating with the kids again next week.

Class will be back next week, there a a few spots that have opened up, if you would like to join in for a few classes to finish off the year get in touch with a message/DM.

Wire, poscas, beads and colourful wools and things. Today’s animal inspired class is going to be so much fun, looking forward to taking our drawings off the page and into a more sculpture like form.
