Lake Grace Artists' Group A vibrant group of creative, active locals, based in and near Lake Grace, Western Australia. And we're always looking ways to expand this list!

The Lake Grace Artists’ Group has come together since the 1970s to facilitate and participate in exhibitions and artist’s workshops, create public artworks, collaborate on community artworks and to study visual arts. The members of the artists' group include professional artists, community artists, craft persons and dabblers. Our skills are just as diverse: we have those that are landscape painter

s, sculptors, textile artists, animal and portrait drawers, book artists and floral painters, photographers, woodworkers and cultural interpretation consultants.

We're inviting creatives from across Australia and around the world to help shape a landmark public art trail across one of the world's most striking coastal landscapes, in Esperance (Kepa Kurl), on the southern edge of Western Australia.

Expressions of Interest are now open for bold, inventive contemporary artworks that will stand as permanent landmarks in this unique environment.

No they weren't brave enough to put their faces in but at least I managed to get a picture of all the books made over the weekend.
4 books each over the weekend.
Thanks Jayne-Maree Argent for being a great tutor, and for the participants who came and enjoyed the weekend of learning journal making from new and repurposed materials, chatting, and socialising...excellent company and a awesome workshop.
We are looking at running, something similar again soon if any one is interested.

We went to the opening of" old land in a New light." Exhibition in Narrogin were two of our members Judith Stewart and Joyce Contos exhibited their work. Well done girls.
Also Two members from the Mixart group in Albany Annette Davis and Catherine Higham
There were over 20 artist exhibited. Over two venues Arts Narrogin gallery and Nexis gallery.
