Heavens to Betsy are we excited about this months Simba Sessions on September 11!
What a delight it is to have this excellent human – Will Small - as our feature POET alongside the beautiful folk music of Kavisha Mazzella and the stunning compositions of Timothy Coghill!

Will Small is a 3× Australian Poetry Slam National Finalist, spoken word poet, and author of three collections — most recently The Fossil of Us that he will be showcasing this Simba.

His poetry and story work circle around themes of what it means to keep showing up when the world feels dark.

Will’s work is motivated by a deep conviction that story is at the heart of human connection, which couldn’t be a better fit with what we do here in this beautiful community.

Come support our artists and our fundraiser for this beautiful project to help us keep sharing stories and bringing art to Kyneton and the Macedon Ranges.

Grab tickets while you can as they’re starting to fly out the door!

Also, Will Small (NSW)will be our Poet, launching his most recent poetry book - ‘the Fossil of Us’- here in Kyneton, alongside Kavisha Mazzella and other special guests!
Kate & Paul might even pop in for a song!

Look forward to seeing your real soon.

If you are a poet we have featured and have a special piece about being on the outside or feeling like a misfit then getting in touch!

Friday night was pure magic! Thanks to all these incredible artists – what a delight it was to be part of this group of excellent human beings that shared with such generosity and care.

A massive shout out to our volunteers and everyone who came to support what we do here and the spaces we hold. We couldn’t do it without you all.

Sending you all love peace and grounding as you take shelter from the storms that surround you.

A wise person once said: don’t find someone to save you from the dark and stormy times in your life, find someone who has experienced it, knows the landscape and learned to how to turn it into futile soil, and learn from them.

For those that missed out, join us on September 11 for our fundraiser!
