WE'RE HIRING – GALLERY ASSISTANT (Administration & Gallery Support)

Tjarrambayi Arts is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Gallery Assistant to join our team.

This is a varied role that includes:
- Assisting customers in the gallery
- Displaying and caring for artwork
- General administration and office duties
- Packing and processing artwork sales
- Assisting with social media and marketing
- Providing excellent customer service
- General day-to-day support for the Arts Centre

Essential qualities:
• Friendly and professional manner
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer and administration skills
• Well organised and reliable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Interest in Aboriginal art and culture is highly regarded

Eligibility:
Applicants must be eligible for Job Pathways wage subsidies.

If you're looking for an opportunity to develop your skills while supporting one of the Kimberley's Aboriginal Art Centres, we'd love to hear from you.

Wages - As part of the job pathways wage subsides. Wages will be
$32 an hour 4 hours a day, for 6 months
A Further increase in the pay and hours as work production starts
