As the year rolls on and the memories of this year's event linger in our minds, behind the scenes the cogs keep turning. And we know those components of creativity don't often take much of a break in our community. The magic we get to dream of and build takes time, planning, and a lot of organisation.

Whether it's fine-tuning a theme camp, planning events, or building artwork, the amount of time never seems to be enough, until it is, and it gets done, miraculously and spectacularly.

Pushing creative boundaries is what makes the Burner community so unique, and we want to see what you have planned for the future. So this is a little reminder that Temple design applications will be opening soon. If you have a design idea and you're ready to undertake the build through to burn, keep your eyes open and get planning.

Any questions about the Temple process? Please feel free to email [email protected] Love and Dust ❤️‍🔥

SAVE THE DATE! ✨

Blazing Swan: Recombobulation

This year, the paddock reminded us.. it takes a Village. 🏰

Now it’s time to come back together.

Recombobulation is our soft landing - a space to gather the pieces, share the stories, and gently (or joyfully) put it all back together again. Back in the Village, where it all makes sense.

This is also our annual fundraiser to support the art that shapes our city - because it truly takes a Village to bring that magic to life.

Date: August 22nd
Location: Port Beach Hotel

Come reconnect, re-ground, and reignite. Bring your dust, your memories, your people - and help us carry the flame forward.

More to come.. for now, save the date and feel your way back to the Village.🔥

Travelling to Blazing Swan 2026 Today?
Please be respectful and courteous whilst travelling. Please be aware that other drivers may not do the right thing.

We are a large event, with limited route options, and it's now the Easter weekend. It is highly likely there will be an increased Police presence on the roads and double demerits are now in effect.

We want you to arrive safely, and start the event with good vibes.
Take your time and enjoy the ride.

Fuel restrictions announced yesterday commence today in Kulin (Open 8am-5pm, limited to $100 per vehicle). We remind the community that our advice remains; to fill up at multiple service stations on both the way down and the return journey.

Reminder! Travel Safe
As many of our community begin their journeys to Blazing Swan 2026, now’s the time to start easing into ‘Blaze time’ - where space and time soften, and the experience begins long before you arrive.

Please take care on the roads. Slow down, drive safely, and show respect to the communities and towns we pass through.

Places like Kulin support what we do - let’s return that support through our actions.

There’s no prize for being first at the gate.

We recommend avoiding travel during dusk. If you arrive after dark, you’ll be directed to a holding bay to park - you'll grab what you need and camp overnight, then move your car in the morning.

Gates shut at 9pm.

Sometimes, no matter how eager you are to arrive, the right call is to rest and continue the next day safely.

It’s always better to arrive late than not at all.

E-Scooters & E-Bikes

Are you thinking about bringing a set of powered wheels to Blazing Swan 2026?

Here’s what you need to know!

Anything electrical vehicle (e-bikes, e-scooters, e-trikes, one wheels etc) must be under 750w for use at Blazing Swan. If your transport is over this rating, please leave it at home.

If you're bringing something within these guidelines, please ride them safely and responsibly throughout the event, ensure they are well-lit at night and give pedestrians priority.

General camping is likely to be very compact this year, so please be considerate of your fellow humans whilst navigating this area. And with an increased attendance, the burns are expected to be busy - so again, please consider others.

The speed limit of 8kph applies to the entire event.

Please be aware that fossil-powered scooters, motorbikes, quads etc are not permitted at the event.

For more information on this, please read the Mutant Vehicle Guidelines on the website.

Weather Preparation ☔☀️💨

Blazers! 4 days to go!! So let’s talk weather prep!

Cyclone Narelle will likely have finished dumping her fury before you arrive (remember to thank the crews currently slogging through it🙏), and we’re looking at mid-high 20’s in the daytime and down to about 10 degrees at night.

THIS MEANS NOTHING AND WILL CHANGE, as Blaze can gift us 35 and sunny to 80km winds and storms to nearing zero at night, all in 1 day. It’s going to be the best, but we should all prepare for the worst 🤣⛺🪢

Tents, Gazebos & Wind
Whatever weather we get next week absolutely will involve wind. A lot! From all directions! Gazebos and tents often want to fly at Blaze. If you would like a tent to come back to, you absolutely need to tie/peg it down properly.
Do this when you put your tent up, not at 4am when it’s already lifting off ✈
Use HEFTY stakes. If your pegs came free with your Kmart tent, they will not function. Buy better pegs!

Gazebos
Peg all the peg holes, tie guy ropes to all the eyelets; double pe***ng and two guy ropes per eyelet is better!Consider taking down gazebos overnight, when you're not there or when the winds pick up. Or use the best trick: tie your gear to your car/trailer, or other heavy objects like multiple large water containers. It can get rough out there, but usually cars do not want to fly 🙂❤️

Sun
Do what your mum says: slip, slop, slap, and get all the water inside you. Sun burn, dehydration and heat stroke are NOT fun!
Anti-sun
It can also get super cold at night out there: bring warm clothes, socks, blankets etc.

Rain
Bring extras in case of wet: warm socks, a rain jacket, gum boots, a positive outlook towards the rain our farmer friends would love 🌧️🌈
Add trenches around your tent, as the dry ground at Kulin can flood very quickly if it does rain. That means bring a shovel!
Keep any electrics off the ground and not in what may become water
Think about keeping any valuables or clothing off the floor of your tent, just in case it does rain or flood. Waterproof dry bags are also fab for important items like car keys, passports etc.

Have fun packing, we can’t wait to see your shiny happy faces out there!! ❤️💕😊
