In his absolute element!!!

And to think it all started with an invitation to come along and do carriage rides at Lights on the Hill a trip over east,planted a little seed in Stratton’s head
“Why don’t we just do our own field day?”

Well, 6 years later, here we are!!!

What started as a simple idea has grown into Sunnydale Vintage Day old machinery roaring back to life, working horses, tractors, trucks, families, mates, volunteers, an incredible community and now thousands of dollars raised for some pretty special causes.

And amongst all the madness, there’s Stratton Goodall absolutely in his element.

Safe to say that little idea got slightly out of hand but we wouldn’t have it any other way. 😂

If you ever wonder how we get it all done it’s these great volunteers!!!

Every single volunteer in this photo I honestly don’t have the words to thank you all enough.

Every person brings a different talent, passion, skill to Sunnydale Vintage Day and that’s exactly what makes this event what it is.

From the weeks of preparation, the late nights, the last minute jobs, fixing things, moving things, organising, cleaning, setting up and then somehow still smiling and getting amongst it on the day you guys are bloody legends!

Sunnydale isn’t put together by a big committee or an event company. It’s simply a small but mighty crew of volunteers who roll up their sleeves, see what needs doing and get it done.

We are incredibly proud of what we pulled off together this year. 100 STIHL saws cutting for 100 years of STIHL, our first charity auction raising an incredible $17,000, and another Sunnydale Vintage Day done and dusted. 🙌

To every single one of you THANK YOU. 🤗

You each bring something different to Sunnydale, and we simply couldn’t do it without you.
