Artbox Films is settling in at the new office in Crows Nest after making the move in mid February. It's so central. Right on Pacific Highway across from the new Metro and Crows Nest shopping village which is a five minute walk away. Perfect for grabbing a bite at lunch time. The office is on the top floor of a two-storey building above a boxing gym and opens onto a huge breakout space overlooking Pacific Highway that will really suit play and film rehearsals, and script reads.

I went along to AWG's Write Night: Meet the Developers panel event at the Knox St Bar last night. Heads of Development were from Bunya Productions, Lingo Pictures and Goalpost Pictures. The chair was from Wooden Horse. I hope AWG hold more of these events so writers/creatives can learn firsthand what production companies in Oz are currently looking for in terms of format, genre, tone and story.
