🔥 there’s just something about painting a night sky that really just hits the spot. This was my partners idea and I think it’s his best one yet - Charmander toasting marshmallows while toasty in a Charizard onesie

This was so fun!! I don’t think I’ve had this much fun blending especially a skin colour which usually freaks me out and being okay with it taking a bit to do !!

Day 14 - Yummy ☕️
This is my favourite painting it represents the good times and catch ups I would have with my best friend, the perfect pairing of a coffee and a hot chocolate
It was also the first time I tried HIMI gouache and WOW I remember it being hard when I did this I was definitely a beginner

I love LOVE doing pet portraits in a ClipArt style. It’s so cool to design and create a special art piece for someone. AND it’s just so fun to draw and do the little doodles around the pet

I would say this is my best ‘Spring’ representation in my camera roll I honestly thought I had more spring type vibe paintings but it seems not !!
I have the urge to redo or update this painting but I really like how it turned out originally but I definitely can paint flowers a lot better now

I painted this a few years ago, the fact that I had to scroll so far back was crazy to me and made me realise I need to sort through my photos hah
From my memory this was of the vase I got when I turned 18. I was in Brisbane permanently to study and I had only been here for a few months before my birthday and everything was very new. This was my first chance to do something by myself - so I guess it was my first time to ‘bloom’

“Saw you in a dream”
This was a fun challenge to be apart of and I tried something new, sketching completely on my iPad something I haven’t fully practiced. I definitely feel more confident in my skills drawing in the traditional way on paper but I’m proud of how this turned out.
It feels very half done slash disappearing as the just begins to form a full image. You know how some people can see full images in their head? This is sort of my version, it’s like a faint pencil sketch forming and disappearing at the same time, like you are attempting to catch up to it to grasp it

Cheeky little devil 👹⭐️🍎
I managed to choose a bowl and be happy with how it turned out (considering I went in with no plan at all!!!) all while we chatted, laughed, played games and ate together at the work party in January!
I love my bowl and I am obsessed with how the apples turned out around the side. I honestly didn’t think they’d turn out as nice as they did!
