Happy New Year to you all! I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who has been a part of Creative Nook Studio in 2025. Your friendship, creativity, support, & growth has brought me so much joy.
I'd also like to kick off the new year with an introduction, in case you're new here & we've not yet met. My name is Elisha, & I've been married to my husband, Steven, for nearly 25 years. We have four children together & I have just finished one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, twelve years of home schooling. I've been teaching art for over twelve years either to adults, or homeschooling children & it's something I find very rewarding & enjoyable.
Apart from art, I enjoy gardening, reading, writing, singing, embroidery, slow-stitching, home organizing/decorating, & anything English. I'm an old-fashioned kinda gal who loves a good laugh & the simple things in life. I'm also a little obsessed with op-shopping ... just a little!
At Creative Nook Studio we've covered many different types of classes together from acrylic painting, lead pencil, coloured pencil, black pen, paper mache, copper embossing, printing, collage, to sculpture, charcoal, mixed media & art history.
2026 is going to be FANTASTIC! If you're wanting to join us, you're more than welcome. We're a fun (rather crazy) bunch who have become fast friends; encouraging, laughing, growing and supporting each other.
Creative Nook Studio exists to connect people to their creativity, to bring people together in friendship & grow confidence in your skills ... the door is open for you & we'd love to have you step on in & join us!
