TRUST IS CRITICAL FOR THE CENTRAL COAST COUNCIL TO RESTORE.

WE COULDN'T EVEN TRUST THE COUNCIL-UNDER-ADMINISTRATION.

ALTERING THE GOVERNMENT ARCHITECT NSW KIBBLE PARK DESIGN PRINCIPLES AND EVEN PREPARING A DODGY HIGH-LEVEL FINANCIAL ANALYSIS REPORT TO SUPPORT THE DEMOLITION OF THE GOSFORD LIBRARY IS LESS THAN AN IMPRESSIVE TRACK RECORD.

OUR COUNCIL CLAIMED TO HAVE NO MONEY TO SPEND BUT CAN FIND EXCESSIVE FUNDS ABOVE THE $1 MILL TRANSPORT NSW FUNDING TO TOP UP THE SAFER CITIES -HER WAY PROJECT.
BEFORE COUNCIL STAFF ON THIS PAGE CLAIM THAT IS NOT CORRECT, IT'S A FACT CLEARLY WRITTEN IN COUNCIL DOCUMENTS. SAFER CITIES $1MILL WAS TOPPED UP, PEEPS!

MONEY CAN BE FOUND VIA A WHOPPING $1.65 MILLION FEDERAL FUND TO FIX AND FIX AGAIN A TIDAL POOL THE STATE GOVERNMENT AND LOCAL COUNCIL WERE TOLD WOULD NOT WORK.

NOW WE ARE TO SPEND EXCESSIVE MONEY GETTING RID OF THE TIDAL POOL TO REFRESH A PARK THAT WAS ONLY OPENED IN FEBRUARY 2021.

THE COUNCIL'S CLAIM THAT THEY CANNOT POSSIBLY KEEP AND REPURPOSE A HERITAGE-SIGNIFICANT LIBRARY BUILDING IS UNTRUE.

THE OLD WOY WOY COUNCIL BUILDING (1931) WAS REPURPOSED INTO A LIBRARY AND THAT COUNCIL ASSET WORKS MORE COST-EFFECTIVELY THAN THE TIDAL POOL (2021).

COME ON! WE DON'T BELIEVE A WORD THE COUNCIL SAYS!

WE NEED MUCH BETTER LEADERSHIP AND HONESTY IN MOVING FORWARD.

RE-PURPOSE GOSFORD LIBRARY AS STATED BY THE GOVERNMENT ARCHITECT NSW.

They stopped our performance art and cultural precinct. Now they are trying to demolish a great civic building. More flats means we need more civic spaces and cultural areas.

HANGER PETITION: Ourimbah locals have launched an e-petition in the Legislative Assembly calling for the Nissen Hut (Hanger) land to be returned to the community.

It comes as recent news that heritage listed Nissen Hut and public toilet located on the corner of Glen Road and Jaques Street near Ourimbah shops will soon be removed and stored off-site by the University of Newcastle.

The Nissen Hut is a World War Two period structure which for many years was used as a community hall and donated in the 1990s to University of Newcastle Students by the Ourimbah School of Arts.

Member for The Entrance David Mehan MP says he's been advised the University intends to sell the land.

The e-petition is calling for Central Coast Council to take possession of the land and turn it into a community space now that the university has no further use for the site.
