This is not a pity post but it is how I feel.
The first Love It festival in 2023 was a huge success and we only just covered costs
Love it 2024 was a massive success, we covered costs and made a bit too.
Love it 2025 was not a financial success and we didn't cover costs, so I will be out of pocket. (but we had a great time)
This saddens me, but its on me as the organiser, so we didn't get to make any profit to give Lauren, we did do some money cards and we will have a raffle starting this week (stay tuned) and all money raised goes to Lauren
I feel there were a couple of major factors involved with the let down of the event, change of venue (not my choice) I thought we would be at Lovetts flats forever, and 2 the struggle with camping on site at our property, which turned out we can fit 100's on our land. which excites me for 2026
But it is over now and I need to accept it as it is and move on myself.
2026 will be better it will be on our land and we will have camping onsite
