Only one week to go until the next fantastic Friends of Kiama Library event - a talk with author Lyn Hughes about Mr Carver's Whale - an historical novel with a contemporary twist. Everyone welcome.
🐋Filled to the brim with books, journeys, whales, love, ghosts, desire and death, Mr Carver's Whale took Lyn on a thrilling decade-long journey from the tiny island of Pico in the Portuguese archipelago of Azores, to remotest Fogo Island off the east coast of Newfoundland, to Eden on the South Coast of New South Wales.
📚Please join us for afternoon tea after the talk, when books will be available for purchase and signing.
📌Sat 7 Sept, 2pm, Kiama Library Auditorium, $8 FOKL members/$10 guests, book online https://library.kiama.nsw.gov.au/lyn-hughes or call 02 4233 1133.
