At A Star Dance we believe that everyone can be a star in their own way. Some of our students are wanting to become professional performing artists. Some of our students love coming to class to "just get away from it all". Some of our students love coming to because dance is their passion. It doesn't matter why our students love coming to us. What does matter is that we are their happy place. Not

only do we offer dance tuition and performance opportunities but we provide emotional support and assist in helping our students discover their highest potential.

A Star Dance began because I couldn’t find the right dance place for Arabella.

I wanted somewhere ballet based, but full of imagination and play. Somewhere I could be right there beside her, and then step back when she was ready to dance on her own. Nothing like that existed in Adelaide, and that’s how Bebe Ballet was born, and then A Star Dance.

Today Arabella turns 21, and I can’t imagine my life without being a mum, a dance teacher, and a studio owner. Thank you, Arabella, for letting me become all of those things.

Now she’s following in my footsteps and has become an inspiration to our littlest dancers, the same way she once inspired me to build all of this.

To our Cinderella cast and their families, thank you. What a show.

We could not be prouder of what you pulled off. Microphone packs, headsets, handheld mics, props and a lot more, all while staying in character and looking after each other.

That is what a full musical asks of young performers, and you rose to it. Watching you do it has brought our A Star Dancers so much closer together.

To our parents, none of this happens without you. Every extra rehearsal, every drop-off, every line run at the kitchen table. You made it possible, and we’re quite sure a lot of those songs are ‘stuck’ in your head. Oh yes they are!!

This is what we love about A Star. Real skills, real stage time, and a group of young humans who genuinely look after each other.
