Why I painted Bread Club- I like to capture the human connection to local buildings through art, using deliberate colours that reflect not just how they look, but how they feel and the memories they evoke.

After many iterations and artist proofs, I was able to capture the deliciousness and freshness of the freshly baked produce.

This painting is less bout the building itself, and more about that connection- the experience of being there and the feeling it leaves behind.

Here are some kind words from my client- ā€˜I commissioned a picture from Parul of our favourite North Melbourne restaurant for my husbandā€™s birthday and we could not be happier with it. The process was great, with Parul consulting with us along the way and really building into the picture the emotions of our memories of the restaurant.
