What a wonderful afternoon celebrating 100 years of the Bendigo Competitions at the Centennial Variety Concert! 🤍

It was incredible to see just how much talent we have here in Bendigo, with an amazing variety of dancers, singers, musicians and bands taking to the stage and providing such a fantastic afternoon of entertainment! 🎶✨

Thank you so much to the Bendigo Competitions Society for having us and for putting together such a wonderful event to celebrate this very special milestone! 👏🏼

We are also incredibly proud of our Leonie’s Academy of Dance students! A MASSIVE congratulations to our Open Age Contemporary Troupe, who were awarded the Audience Vote out of the group performances! What an exciting achievement! ✨

Congratulations also to our beautiful soloists Abbey, Aubrey and Lila, who each gave wonderful performances this afternoon. We are so proud of you all! ✨

WOW!! What an incredible competition season we had at the 2026 Bendigo Competitions, celebrating the competition’s 100th year! ⭐️

To every one of our soloists, duos, trios and troupes – you absolutely shone on stage. Your passion, commitment, hard work and love of dance were evident in every performance, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything you achieved!

A huge thank you to my amazing teaching team – Miss Heidi, Miss Julie, Miss Julianne and Miss Carlie – for your endless support, encouragement and dedication to our students throughout the year 🤍✨

To our incredible parent helpers who spent time in the dressing rooms helping students get stage ready, and to all of our wonderful families, thank you for your ongoing support behind the scenes. We are so lucky to have such a caring and supportive dance community ❤️

A very special thank you to the Bendigo Competitions Society for once again hosting such a fantastic competition. We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to next year!

We are also so excited to perform at the Centennial Variety Concert this Saturday, with our Open Contemporary Troupe taking the stage, along with Abigael, Aubrey and Lila, who were handpicked by the adjudicators to perform their solos. What an incredible achievement – congratulations girls! We can’t wait to cheer you on🌟
