🌏 On World Environment Day, we're excited to announce the cast of Second Coming. The next mainstage show at La Boite Theatre is a love letter to our and a tragicomedy of galactic proportions.

Starring Ashlee Lollback, Gideon Mzembe, Anthony Standish and Merlynn Tong, Second Coming explores the rise of corporate power, oligarchy, and the urgent need for new ethics in a world driven by boundless capitalism.

Funny, provocative and deeply human, this world premiere asks what happens when the future of Earth is left in the hands of those who value profit above all else.

La Boite Theatre is proud to launch Assembly Pathways, a new initiative supported by Arts Queensland, designed to create opportunities for artists beyond our flagship Assembly program and foster meaningful pathways to further careers.

Through two new streams – Assembly: Artist-In-Residence and Assembly: Next Step – the program provides dedicated support for Assembly alumni who are ready to take the next step in their creative journey.

Assembly Pathways is available exclusively to artists who have previously participated in La Boite's Assembly program, with the application process now open.

If you're an Assembly alum and haven't already received information about the program, or if you have any questions about eligibility or the application process, please contact the Producing Team.

The apocalypse is over and we must all return to civilisation. Tonight the company of EAT SLAY ZOMBIE take their final bow‼️

They ran from zombies, they protected aunties, they made audiences boogie and they warmed our hearts. To the creative team, you have achieved the unthinkable, a world built with fearless imagination, razor-sharp craft, and so much heart. The ensemble brought relentless energy, heart, and hilarity to every moment on stage, a true testament to fearless collaboration and craft.❤️

As the lights fade on this world, we celebrate every rehearsal, every laugh, every near-death-by-zombie moment. Thank you to the cast, crew, creatives, and audience for making this apocalypse one we never wanted to escape.🧟

And now… we return to civilisation, forever changed (and perhaps we’ve learned a thing or two about survival).✨
