CALLING ALL BRISBANE CREATIVES!! 📣📣‼️💃🕺
The QUT Musical Theatre Society is looking for creative team leads to work with us on the exciting adventure of our 2026 Semester 2 Musical. 🎭✨
‼️⏰ FORM CLOSES 11:59PM SUN 12TH OF APRIL ⏰‼️

We want to put forth the best show we can to the community and to do that, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. 🎶💟

As we are for students, by students, we wanted to make sure we gave ample rehearsal time for all of our cast. The musical is showing in the first week of December with rehearsals starting in June. 🎭📆🌟

Rehearsals are based at the QUT Kelvin Grove Campus in Brisbane, Australia 📍🗺️

Creative team members do not have to be QUT Students (or students at all) but please keep in mind that we are not a fully professional group and this is a volunteer opportunity.

We are looking for: 🎭🎉
- Lead Choreographer
- Assistant Choreographer
- Lead Production Designer
- Lead Costume Designer
- Lead Promotional Officer/s

These leads will be crucial in helping shape the creative outcome of the production and they will manage their small team. 👫🌟
You would work closely with the director, and other members of the creative team to ensure productive and positive collaboration. 🎬🫶

Tech Roles have not been listed here as we believed bringing them onboard too early would burden them rather than be productive. 👩‍💻⚙️
If you are interested in tech related roles or to be creative helpers, please keep an eye out on our Instagram page as those callouts will be posted later in the year. 👀🤹

The musical has been chosen but is not currently public.
We would disclose the musical to you before bringing you on board to ensure you are happy to work on the show.

If you are interested, we would love to see you apply to the form in our Linktree!! 💛📋

The form closes April 12th at 11:59PM 📆

From there we will reach out to applicants and potentially set up in-person discussions.

We hope you all had a great summer break and are excited to join us for all of the amazing things we have planned for this year!! 🌟🗓️🎵

💖 Semester One 💖 is set to include social events, skill building sessions, drama games, showcases, and our auditions for the Sem 2 Musical! 🎤🎼

💜 Semester Two 💜 will also include similar events but with a primary focus on the end of year production 🎭
