QUT Woodward Theatre This is the page for the now demolished Woodward Theatre, once located at the QUT campus in Kelvin Grove.

This page is in no way associated with the Queensland University of Technology. The Woodward Theatre was an arts learning environment located at the Queensland University of Technology's Kelvin Grove campus - an inner northern suburb of Brisbane. The Woodward Theatre served as an practical education and experimental art space, featuring a wide range of work from undergraduate through to postgradua

te performances and creative developments. The facility also offered various production support services for QUT Creative Industries production activities. In 2016, QUT relocated activities from the Woodward Theatre (and other various facilities) to their expansion of the Creative Industries Precinct on Musk Avenue. The Woodward Theatre was permanently closed on the 12th December 2015 and demolished in mid-2016 to make way for the construction of a new education precinct.

New Moves is a showing of choreographic works in progress.
Each piece includes interactive audio and/or video systems that respond to the dancer's movements. The show will also showcase a Post Graduate piece, which fuses ballet and Latin dancing, as well as a piece from the upcoming Dance Grad showcase at the end of the year.

All has been quiet on the Woodward page lately, that is because Molly and her team have been working so hard this semester. She thought it was about time for an update.
