Kel's Art this page is to display some of my Art works. The sculptures are all 'one of' pieces and made from recycled materials.

I hope to also display some of the jewellery pieces I am making. I love creating, making and working on Art projects. I graduated from Curtin Uni in 1998, BA Vis Art. I have been drawing and making art my whole life and am now focusing just on creating Art and making stuff from scrap metal, old tools and wood.

Just finished a new lidded bowl with a small twist. Saw this idea on YouTube and thought I'd give it a go. This is the rest piece. The wood is Black Butt, about 11.5 cm wide and 7 cm high. I just used Danish Oil to finish it.

The Woodturners Weekend Workshop is in Bunbury this weekend and the competition piece is a Bedside or Table lamp. So I followed the description of what they want and this is my entry piece. It is about 450mm high and about 400mm wide. The wood is Sugar Gum and Cherry. The "shade" is metal and glass.

Finished turning this lovely Rose wood. The Rose bush was very old and I was asked to turn some small bowls for a client. I used Linseed Oil finish on all of these pieces.
