Kel's Art this page is to display some of my Art works. The sculptures are all 'one of' pieces and made from recycled materials.

I hope to also display some of the jewellery pieces I am making. I love creating, making and working on Art projects. I graduated from Curtin Uni in 1998, BA Vis Art. I have been drawing and making art my whole life and am now focusing just on creating Art and making stuff from scrap metal, old tools and wood.

I won the raffle at the Collie Woodturners and got a large Blackbutt slab. So I took it to the Collie Men's Shed and cut it into usable blanks. The large blank is about 42cm, the smaller round blank is about 21cm. All the other pieces are about 13cm to 14cm. And a few smaller pieces

Had this Jarrah Burl sitting in the garage for about a year. It's 59cmm X 43cmm and was about 85cm thick. So today I took it to the Collie Woodturners and put it on the big lathe. It is really old and very dry. When done I will finish it with a spray lacquer as any oil based finish will just cause it to go very dark if not black.

Had some nice Sheoak off cuts. I saw a really neat egg cup turned on YouTube and decided to try it.
