Due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately Bradley Christmas is no longer able to perform at Bootlegger this Saturday evening.

We're delighted to welcome singer-songwriter and guitarist Chris Carrapetta back to join Geoff Gates for an evening of heartfelt folk, alt-country and Americana-inspired music.

A former Blue Mountains resident now based in Sydney, Chris Carrapetta was influenced from a young age by folk-rock legend Neil Young and a steady diet of alternative country and Americana music. His songs often explore themes of life, love and heartbreak, delivered through passionate live performances featuring dynamic vocals, guitar and harmonica.

Geoff Gates' blend of folk, rock and alt-country has earned him a loyal following. His albums Melancholy Party (2021) and Willow & Rock (2024) showcase his thoughtful songwriting and storytelling, while his single This Old Life received airplay on ABC Country.

Together, Geoff and Chris promise an evening of memorable songs, authentic musicianship and a distinctly Blue Mountains spirit.

Join us for a special gig featuring Brad Christmas from Copperline and Geoff Gates, solo artist. Known for their honest songwriting and passionate performances, they’re teaming up to deliver a unique musical experience.
Brad Christmas, the lead vocalist of Copperline, has made his mark with songs like 'Lucinda’, winner of the 2023 Best Ballad at the Australian Songwriters Awards. His band’s records 'Rusty Fords and Weatherboards’ (2018) and 'Borrowed, Broken and Blue' (2022) are testament to Brad's musical versatility and classic songcraft.
Geoff Gates blends folk, rock, and alt-country genres in his music. His two albums, 'Melancholy Party’ (2021) and 'Willow & Rock' (2024) showcase his storytelling prowess. His single 'This Old Life' appeared on ABC Country (Grassroots) and he was a recent guest on 'Virtual Unreality' (2RRR).
Together, Brad and Geoff promise an evening of memorable music with a Blue Mountains vibe (both recorded their albums at Shelter Studios in Katoomba). Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see them perform live!
