First up, Brad catches up with Ken Stewart for a lively chat about the Urban Guerillas’ upcoming show at The Royal in Springwood (Saturday, October 11th). They dive into the band’s new material, their signature live energy, and a few mod classics they’re throwing into the setlist for die-hard fans. Ken gives a sneak peek at the group’s recording process and hints at a new album in the works — all while keeping that trademark Guerrillas spirit of fun, spontaneity, and audience connection.
Later, Brad welcomes Reyhn Marvin from Tap Hammer, fresh off the release of their powerful new single and video “Longer Now.” Rian talks about working with filmmaker Justin from Near Film Videography and drone artist JB Fly High, creating a raw, Blue Mountains–style performance clip that captures the band’s electric live energy. The band is gearing up for an all-ages gig at Tibby Whelan Hall in Katoomba alongside Lyre Lyre and Manifest, promising an explosive night of local talent and original music.

We've had to make the difficult decision to end rehearsals at the Shelter Studios.
Rehearsals have been in our DNA here at the Shelter / KFM Media, it's how we started, so it hasn't been an easy decision to make, but our last day for rehearsal bookings will be the 28th of February. The studio isn't going anywhere though, this change means we can focus more on recording, and we'll be making several upgrades to the space this year.
We'd like to thank all of the hundreds of bands and musicians who have used this space over the last 15 years, and we'd love to welcome you back to record!
