BLUE MOUNTAINS ELVIS FESTIVAL August 13-16th 2026

Myself and my friend Shane Hill went to our first Parkes Elvis Festival in 2013. Whilst watching the cars parade down the main street on Saturday Shane remarked that he would like to be in the parade next year with a special limousine. Before we left Parkes on Monday Shane had bought the limousine he wanted.

For the next six months the car was stripped both on the outside and the inside. Wayne Harrison from Advanced Airbrush set to work to create Shane's idea of a rock'n'roll limo featuring all the artists Shane had admired from the 70's upwards.

ROCKU2 made it's debut at The Parkes Elvis Festival the following year in 2014. Since then it has carried more Elvis Tribute Artists on a regular basis than any other car in Australia.

AS well as being a Co- founder of the Blue Mountains Elvis Festival, Shane Hill was the driving force behind the 'Tribute for the KIng' P&0 cruises where the limousine was used extensively to transport Elvis Tribute Artists from airports/accommodation to the ships.

Since the 'Tribute for the KIng' cruises came to an end a few years ago the LImousine has been mostly parked. Early this year Shane decided to part with the limo and asked me if I would be interested. He wanted ROCKU2 to go to a good home with someone who would take good care of it.

I jumped at the chance to own such a special vehicle and it now sits proudly in my driveway as the latest 'member' of the Blue Mountains Elvis Festival team where it awaits the call to once again ferry the artists musicians and VIP guests around the mountains in August.

Special mention to SHANE HILL for creating such a Legendary Limousine.
