Behind every community event is a team of volunteers who just get the job done!
Thank you to the crew at the Karumba Rec Club for feeding us and keeping the drinks coming.
To Scott, Anthea & Ginger Jones - Scott was the originator of our Fire Truck Pull and it was a pleasure to have him back running the event for us this year. Anthea offered to 'write a few raffle tickets' out for us and 4+ hours later was still volunteering! THANK YOU.
Karumba Health Clinic staff- for caring for our community and running the free health checks (and if you have a follow up appointment - GO!).
Rob - is always behind the scene making sure we have the sound system, the fire truck and so much more.
Sheryl - where do I start - she rounds up the donations, sets up, volunteers all day, packs up, and delivers prizes....always on the go.
Taylah - Our Misses Mintie runner! Thanks for keeping the kids entertained.
Caitlyn - the talented face painter! They all looked so good!
Kevin - the balloon man and our guest judge. Thank you for just stepping in when needed as well as Purple! You are both appreciated.
Marg Neuman - my mintie sewer and Rec Club helper.

Jacky, Troy & Ben - every year they will be the last there as they help pack up all the tables & chairs.
And a special thank you to the regular and long term visitors who stepped up when we lost a couple of volunteers to an accident (they are fine!) and ran games, helped organise, drew the cent sale and were there to the end! Elaine, Jenny, Peta, Geoff! THANK YOU.

To our cake stall helpers - from those who donated (Lea Wilding, Pat Roots, Shelley Black, Sandi Newman, Joy Moore, Janet Haydon, and anyone I have accidentally missed) to the workers on the day (Deb Parker and Shelley Black who was there all day), we cannot thank you enough. Our cake stall raised over $770 for the centre! 🧁🍰🍪🥮❤️❤️❤️

Reverse Raffle - We sold out early this year and below is the order of when the numbers were drawn. The last 10 were slowly knocked out until there were 2 at the end. Ralph & Elaine+Jenny were present and they discussed should they split or go for all! Winning number this year was #2. Congratulations.

Happy Sunday everyone! Thank you to all who came and helped make it a fun filled entertaining day. You are all so appreciated.

This morning, I'll be ringing the last few winners I didn't around to last night and delivering prizes all over town which means you may get your prize before your phone call! There are 1 or 2 Normanton prizes that missed a lift down last night but they will get down there.

Our Cent Sale - $2.50 for a strip of 10 tickets. 60 great prizes. Open tomorrow at the Karumba Community Recreation Club from 1pm to 5pm for sales and then Saturday from 1pm.
