I’m delighted to be a finalist t the City of Belmont Art Awards this year, with this oil on canvas painting, Grevillea- Gelato Dream.
This is the first of a collection of three Grevillea paintings… it’s very easy to fall in love with these plants, the flowers are so mesmerising and beautiful in their complexity. There’s nothing quite like spotting a perfect specimen of a flower, it reminds me how wonderful this world can be, and how we should be taking better care of it.

I’ve started on a new canvas 💛, after a couple of weeks doing other art business:
-Building new market displays
-Matting, backing and packing prints for my next market (North Perth town hall- tomorrow 23/8)
- matting, backing & packing restock prints for my selection at The Corner Store, Guildford
- various submissions to upcoming exhibitions and markets.
It’s not all painting!
