Due to shortage of committee members Karoonda Farm Fair has entered into caretaker mode for 2026.

We acknowledge and sincerely thank the many volunteers who have supported and sustained this community event for 40 years. Your contribution has been invaluable.

Efforts to recruit new committee members will continue, and we would love to hear from anyone willing to be involved for 2027.

🙌. We need your help.

The future of this event is at risk. ‼️

With the help of the District Council of Karoonda East Murray and community members we need to look at ways to evolve the Karoonda Farm Fair and Show into the future.

All ideas are welcome

➡️ Due to insufficient nominations for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, at the AGM on 16 July 2025 the Committee determined to defer the 2025-26 appointment process until a Special Meeting on 13 August 2025 where all nominations would again be considered and if again insufficient nominations are received a Special Resolution to recess the Committee for 2025-26 will be considered.

➡️ As such, the Committee again calls for nominations for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and hereby gives 21 days' notice of the following proposed Special Resolution:

"That due to insufficient candidate nominations for the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, the Farm Fair & Show Committee hereby resolves that the existing Committee Membership be dissolved, the Committee be recessed for a period of up to 12months and ……… be appointed as Committee caretaker for the duration of the recess".
