A huge thank you to Zoe Wood for such an incredibly kind gesture on Sunday. 💜🖤

April entered 4 solo performances and, because she was the only one in her category, wasn’t eligible to receive a trophy. While she absolutely knows dance is about so much more than trophies (!!), she was a little disappointed.

Zoe saw that and, at the end of the competition, gave April one of her own trophies. It was such a thoughtful and selfless thing to do, and it truly meant the world to her.

Now when April looks at that trophy, she’s reminded not only of all the hard work she put into her dancing, but also of the beautiful and supportive dance community she is lucky to be part of.

Thank you again, Zoe - your kindness won’t be forgotten. ✨
