Currently in our Salon Space is a mini exhibition by Karly (Me!).
This is a collection of pieces that I've made over the past fifteen years, some of them from fifteen years ago, and some of them much, much newer. But they're all connected by the way that I create art and why I create art. This exhibition will be up for a few more weeks and will be open tomorrow. If you'd like to have a look. I'll also be sharing a little bit more about the process and what some of them mean in the next few weeks, along with sharing some new art classes coming up.

Shapes & Feelings
A Mini Exhibition
Do you know what you are feeling right now?
These peices have come out of the experience of chronic ill health, pain and significant life changes: experiences that can be difficult to express in words.
I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for a bit over 20 yrs now. How it effects me changes all the time. Right now it's the best it's been, but it hasn't always been like this. There have been years at a time when I've lost my ability to do anything & to communitcate effectively - except through art. Throughout the years, I've engaged with art and creativity to help my pain, to meditate, to find a sense of flow, to help my mental health, to express myself and to just have something to do. The reason I engage with some many mediums is because each one offers something different to the way that I feel when I'm creating them. This creatively adaptability has been my saving grace. I'll be sharing about this a bit more over the next few weeks & you can come into the gallery to see the'full' 'mini' exhibition at the gallery whenever we're open
