SEPTEMBER IS FOR OUR YOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The African Goldfields Community (AGC) is excited to bring you an action-packed YOUTH SPORTS FESTIVAL this September!

It’s all about celebrating our young people, building friendships, discovering talent and having FUN!

Our youth will form teams and battle it out in exciting BASKETBALL and VOLLEYBALL competitions, with fantastic prizes to be won!

And there’s more, Before the big competition, participants will have the opportunity to attend professional training sessions, including training with the Giants Team and Coaches at the Evolution Mining Stadium.
Come ready to learn, improve your skills and play your best.

There will be free :

Sausage sizzle
Drinks
Food
Awesome prizes

Venue: Evolution Mining Stadium

Date : 19th September,2026

Time : 2 - 5pm

We encourage parents, families, friends and the entire community to come along and cheer our youth on.

There will also be a free Financial Literacy Workshop Session.

What an incredible Africa Day celebration we shared this past weekend!

The African Goldfields Community was honoured to welcome people from across Kalgoorlie-Boulder and beyond to celebrate the richness and diversity of African culture through vibrant music, delicious food, captivating dance performances and meaningful cultural exchanges.

We were privileged to hear inspiring messages from our highly esteemed panelists and Councillor Deborah, the longest-serving councillor in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, whose wisdom, encouragement and commitment to community continue to inspire us all.

We were equally honoured by the presence of Anita Nathan, Chief Executive Officer of the Goldfields Community Legal Centre, whose support and engagement added great value to the occasion.

Events like these remind us that our diversity is our strength and that culture has the power to bring people together, foster understanding and build lasting connections.

A heartfelt thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, performers, vendors, community groups and the dedicated organising team whose hard work made this event such a remarkable success.

Together, we celebrated our heritage, strengthened our community and created memories that will last for years to come.
