Hello Everyone, it is with great pleasure I am able to say that I am again a Princess Entrant for the Warwick Rodeo Queen Quest for 2023.
I look forward to fundraising and can't wait to see everyone at the Warwick Rodeo and Gold Cup Campdraft for 2023.
Although some of you have been with me on this journey since last year, I will introduce myself again for those of you that don't know who I am.
Hello and Welcome, my name is Maddison Kimber, I am a 17 year old grade 11 student at Boonah State High School. Last year I did something a little out if my comfort zone and I had the time of my life, meeting new people and forming my rodeo royalty family, I had such a blast that I decided that I would do it again, because last year I found myself growing from someone who didn't like to talk to practically anyone to now someone who can publicly address large crowds and I met the most incredible people who I am ever so thankful for.
A bit about me:
My interests outside of rodeo and horses includes being the BSHS 2023 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Ambassador as well as being very involved in my studies, having receiving a scholarship with UQ for 2023 to 2028 as apart of the UQ Youth Achievers Program, which will provide me the opportunity to study A Bachelor of Marine Science in the coming years.
I have a passion for all things horses, rodeo and compete in various disciplines. I started my horse riding journey at the young age of 2 with the amazing help from both my parents. I have recently started breaking and training young horses to help progress my learning and understanding of horsemanship both on the ground and in the saddle.
I am a member of the Australian Professional Rodeo Association, and have been for the past 10 years of my life. I have been involved in the Warwick Show and Rodeo Society from a very young age. Competing at my very first Warwick Rodeo at the age of 7, then to go on and win my first APRA Warwick Rodeo Junior Barrel race buckle at the age of 15. I am also the current holder of the Warwick Rodeo Princess Congeniality title for 2022. I love the energy and excitement the Rodeo brings not only to me but to the whole of Australia; as Australia's Most Famous Campdraft and Rodeo.
I hope to bring why I love Rodeo to the everyone I meet and am looking forward to promoting, supporting and representing the Warwick Rodeo and Gold Cup Campdraft in 2023 to the utmost of my abilities with the help of the Rodeo Royalty family. I would also like to wish all of the Entrants the best of luck.
