New single from Jackoranda is out now!

The guys self recorded this track and I came in to help with tracking the vocals, a couple of guitar overdubs and the final mix.

Very happy with how this turned out! Got a bunch more tracks in the works with these guys too!

I haven’t posted enough on this page but here’s a photo dump for drum session I did with JACKORANDA!

Using a N**E stereo ribbon for overheads. Got the position just right so it could be the drum sound with that alone!

Also had DrAlienSmith capsule8’s on each top and an Alien8 inside the kick! Always works for me.

Something new was using the ASTON spirit outside the kick. Really full sound that added up nicely with the Alien8.

I will have to remember to share some photos where we record the rest of the stuff for these tracks!

SPIN’s new album “Another Door” is out today!

This album was tracked completely live (no overdubs) in a single room. Which can be a challenge to get something even remotely listenable. Luckily we pulled it off and I couldn’t be more proud of this record!
