UPDATE via .s.sile : We raised $27,529 in 8 days for 3 families, but still need $13,090 to safely evacuate 14 people out.
Can you be one of 35 people to send $25 and ask 15 friends to match? This is how we have been raising the amount in the last week. We are so so so grateful to everyone who has given your all, your care and generosity is felt deeply. We are really hoping this is the last push to help these families out.

Diaa - We raised enough to bring his immediate family out, but they don't want to leave without their parents. An extra $8,021 is needed by 5:30pm today

Mohammed - We raised enough for his family to evacuate via medical exemption, but they were stopped at the borders and need another $5,096

Mutual aid relies on many many many hands. This amount is a huge weight on one person, one family, one tiny group of friends. We have been shaking with Diaa and Mohammed all week, unsure whether people will show up so please, please bear this weight with us, it's nothing when there are enough of us. There may never be a chance to evacuate again - you know what to do and it will take you less than an hour: just 35 more people to send $25 and ask 15 friends to match ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹 ❤️‍🩹

Blurb text: Have Heart is a love letter to interdependence in grassroots activism. Using second-hand textiles, the works blur the lines between weaving, quilting, and embroidery. They celebrate small acts of creation as resistance, reminding us of our shared ability to heal and build a kinder world through collective care and action.

RAFFLE FOR DIAA FROM G4ZA! 🕊 Ends Sunday 10pm WST 
Donate for a chance to take these vessels home ✨️

I am partnering with and her mutual aid group to raffle my work for a Palestinian family in Gaza.

As you’ve probably heard, humanitarian aid has been blocked, so donations to NFPs are not reaching the ground in Gaza, making basic necessities extremely costly. Your dollars will help this family survive and actively resist genocide.

Diaa is 29, and a father to five children, Muhammed, Celine, Dounia, Amira and Eileen. They live in the North of Gaza. His mother urgently needs €650 for a medical operation. Food costs at least €350 a day to feed a family of 10, this is not including the clean filtered water and soap to prevent diseases, as well as the constant costs of displacements (transport and tents). Your every dollar will help their survival.

About the work:
These remnant vessels were exercises in everyday alchemy, how the investment of our time, care and energy can transform the forgotten and discarded into the precious and valued.
They are a reminder that consistent incremental actions can create the world we want to see.
