Saturday 13 June | 4pm–6pm | $85
Instructor: Sidney Tulau (SMGS)
Join local artist Sidney Tulau (SMGS) for a relaxed and engaging introduction to watercolour painting.
This workshop will focus on teaching foundational watercolour techniques, including brush control, layering, washes, blending, and understanding how water and pigment interact on the page.
Participants will then use these techniques to explore the realistic representation of plants and natural forms, studying the delicate textures, tones, and shapes found in leaves, flowers, and foliage.
Throughout the session, Sidney will guide attendees in creating their own finished watercolour painting inspired by a leaf, plant, or flower to take home.
Suitable for beginners and those wanting to build confidence with watercolour techniques. All materials supplied, but feel free to bring your own.
Workshop runs with 4+ attendees.
Friends of the Gallery Members will receive 50% off ticket price. Every person buying this ticket type must be a member.

ALL ABOUT JINDABYNE ART GALLERY

Jindabyne Art Gallery is a volunteer-run creative hub showcasing the work of talented local and regional artists from across the Snowy Mountains. Located in Nuggets Crossing Shopping Centre next to Wilderness Sports, the gallery features a diverse collection of paintings, photography, textiles, mixed media and handcrafted artworks inspired by the alpine landscape and the spirit of the region. Visitors and locals alike are invited to discover the creativity of the Snowy Mountains, meet the artists behind the work and experience a vibrant community space celebrating art, culture and connection.
