Well,, July Open Mic — plenty of talent and plenty of bangers! —— what a night!! - and what a LATE night by all it was! So- where did we start—- yes !!! The next gen group ‘Arms’ from Mandurah/Pinjarra kicked off with a solid sounding rock set and rounding out in the mix with some delish rhythm and soul… thnx to all that made the journey to the hills from the southern districts to support … Daryl again gave us some great feel solo work followed by our favourite ‘local’ son Gav who then carried the fine solo work forward ( who also put on his blue suede shoes for a bit of crowd dancing a little later on - smooth criminal!) then we had the Understudies punching the Oz rock and punk numbers out … and the man of the evening Apples, filled out the night and to the wee hours with a very broad set of sweet tunes - there was crowd singalongs and dancing to the very wee hours ….
